Welcome to our web site. The Southern Tier Regional EMS Council was established in 1975, and is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring regional EMS system development in the Southern Tier of New York. Our mission is to "continually strive to ensure that every person in the counties of Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben will have access to the highest quality out-of-hospital emergency care, specific to that particular emergency situation, delivered in accordance with the expected level of treatment, and receive it in a timely fashion." |
